Una traversa in pulman, lungo il deserto del Sinai ed il canale di Suez, di 7 ore per giungere alla splendida capitale egiziana: il Cairo!
Vedere questa città era uno dei sogni che coltivavo sin da bambina. Le piramidi, i faraoni, la storia egiziana… mi hanno sempre affascinata tanto e finalmente, dopo un faticoso viaggio, sono riuscita a realizzare quest’obiettivo!
Giunti al Cairo, abbiamo visitato una delle moschee più grandi e belle d’Egitto, costruita all’interno di un castello, chiamata la moschea d’Alabastro che prende il nome dal pregiato materiale che riveste gli interni della maestosa moschea.
Seconda tappa: verso il Museo Egizio!
Un museo che contiene centinaia di reperti dell’antico egitto, fra cui statue, gioielli, pareti ricche di gerogrifici, vasi canobi, utensili e mummie. Fra i più bei e importanti monumenti abbiamo la maschera d’oro ed il sarcofago del faranone Tutankhamon. Bellissimi..
Dopo una piccola pausa per il pranzo, dritti verso Giza a vedere le famose piramidi di Cheope, Cherfer e Micerino e Sfinge. Questo per me è stato il momento più bello dell’intera vacanza! Sono entrata anche all’interno della piramide di Cherfen, non ci sono parole per descrivere l’emozione che si prova a camminare in quei cunicoli che hanno secoli di storia!
Vi consiglio di fare quest’esperienza, è incantevole, nonostante ci vogliano tante ore di viaggio per farla, ne vale davvero la pena!
L’outfit che ho scelto per questa giornata è composto da un caftano turchese in cotone egiziano, pantalone nero Stradivarius, occhiali D&G, borsa Alessia Sica Milano.
A trip by bus along the desert of Sinai and the Suez Canal, 7 hours to reach the beautiful capital of Egypt: Cairo!
See this city was one of the dreams that I cultivated since childhood. The pyramids, the pharaohs, the Egyptian history … have always fascinated me so much and finally, after a tiring journey, I was able to make this happen!
Once in Cairo, we visited one of the largest and most beautiful mosques of Egypt, built within a castle, called the Alabaster Mosque which takes its name from the fine material that covers the interior of the majestic mosque.
Second stage: towards the Egyptian Museum!
A museum that contains hundreds of artifacts from ancient Egypt, including statues, jewelry, walls rich in gerogrifici, canobi pots, utensils and mummies. Among the most beautiful and important monuments we have the golden mask and the sarcophagus of Tutankhamun faranone. Beautiful ..
After a short break for lunch, straight to Giza to see the famous pyramids of Cheops, Cherfer and Menkaure and the Sphinx. This for me was the best moment of the whole holiday! They are also entered into the pyramid of Cherfen, there are no words to describe the feeling you have to walk in those tunnels that have centuries of history!
I recommend you do this experience, it is lovely, although it takes many hours of travel to get it, it is really worth it!
